A guesthouse with history, in the heart of nature
We are located in a small border settlement of Travná near Javorník. In the picturesque foothills of the Rychlebské hory (Rychleby Mountains) and right by the border with Poland, at an elevation of 650 m above sea level.
The building once served as a border guard station, a meeting place, a mountain café, and later as a tourist lodge. When the local border crossing was established, a small shop opened here to serve visitors. Today, after a light renovation, it is home to a guesthouse with a stylish hunting-lodge-style restaurant.
The guesthouse offers triple, double and single rooms with private bathrooms and beautiful countryside views. A newly built car park for guests is available at the guesthouse and restaurant.
Game specialties and Czech classics
At our restaurant you can enjoy traditional Czech dishes and specialties made from game, savour a good beer, or spend a lovely evening over a glass of wine. The restaurant has a hunting-lodge-style atmosphere — and in summer, a terrace with beautiful countryside views is available.
